ZIGGY (Azote) – The Green Iguana

Ziggy is a very, very chilled out guy! His past times include; sleeping, sunbathing, some more sleeping and occasionally eating! Fact: Iguana's have long, sharp tails which they whip in the air as a defence mechanism. Their tails can break off if caught by a predator, but grows back without permanent damage.

New - Otter Oasis

stan – The male Oriental small clawed otter

This cheeky 18 month old has only just learnt to swim, watch out for him testing the waters with his new found skill. Fact: You can tell the difference between the two, with the male being the larger.

roxy – The female Oriental small clawed otter

The younger of the two, but definitely the boss. She will be found splashing around in their pool and showing off her juggling skills with little rocks and bits of food! Fact: Oriental small clawed otters are the smallest of the world's 13 otter species.

BOB – The Pig-nosed Turtle

Try and find this shy little guy! Bob spends most his time hiding amongst the bogwood and plants, but if you do manage to spot him, check out his cute little piggy nose! Fact: Pig-nosed turtles are completely aquatic – they have flippers to help them swim rather than claws like most other turtles.

PAM – The Pufferfish

Pam loves attention from visitors and never stops smiling. She rivals Angelina Jolie with her enviable perfect pout! Remember to keep her happy and smile right back! Fact: When distressed pufferfish are known to inflate like a beach ball, increasing to 2/3 times their size, hence their name.

FRIDAY –The male Giant Green Sea Turtle

Friday is a curious one, and the show-off of the two! He loves primary colours, and is fascinated by you human folk on the other side of the glass! Fact: You can tell the difference between Friday & Crusoe by the length of their tails -males have a much longer tail! So see if you can spot the difference!

CRUSOE –The female Giant Green Sea Turtle

Crusoe is a lady of leisure and enjoys nothing more than a daily massage up against the water pumps and an exfoliation against the rock face! Fact: Giant green sea turtles are the second largest species of turtle in the world and get the name 'green' from the colour of their fat.

SCARFACE – The Honeycomb Moray Eel

This tough guy thinks he rules the Great Barrier Reef, and has some war wounds to prove it. You can tell him apart by his wonky jaw, a result of a scuffle in his youth! Fact: You will notice them opening and closing their mouths repeatedly, this is because they must pass water constantly through to allow them to breath

obama – The stars & Stripes pufferfish

Obama is Mr.sociable who likes to be part of the action – especially come dinner time this greedy little fish will try and rush to be first in line – unfortunately for him he's not the speediest of swimmers, as you may notice! Fact: They puff up by drawing water in slowly; to deflate they then have to expel the water again.
