The vast majority of our seas and oceans remain virtually unexplored by man. Perpetual darkness, icy temperatures and the immense pressures involved in deep-sea exploration mean that it remains a truly undiscovered territory.

Scientists believe that more than 90% of the planet’s total available living space could be contained within the deep oceans and, with every additional journey to the bottom of the sea, strange new creatures and being discovered.
