A visit to Bournemouth Oceanarium is an educational experience whatever your age and whoever you come with. The sea and all its creatures have so much to teach us and our aim is that all our visitors leave enriched and inspired. Check out all the specific educational activities you can choose from here.

We offer work experience for students 18+  who are studying a relevant animal-based subject. If you do meet this criteria, please send us an email and attach your CV. Please be aware that we receive a vast number of applicants so we cannot guarantee placements.

We do not offer work experience to anyone under the age of 18yrs due to health and safety reasons and insurance regulations.
