Animal Welfare is the Oceanarium's upmost priority. Our dedicated team of aquarists and education hosts work tirelessly to ensure every animal in our care thrives in the safe, enriched, and healthy environment we have created at our aquarium.

As a member of BIAZA (British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums) we are proud of our transparent, ethical approach to marine care and our ongoing work in rescue, conservation, and education.

We are equally proud of the vital role that we play in providing sanctuary for animals that cannot be released into the wild, while educating the public about marine conservation and the impactful work we do.
